What does registration include?
General registration for Collegiate and Alum members includes:
- Hotel Room - A double queen room shared by 4 GRL members on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.
- Programming - Access to all Convention programming including affinity groups, workshops, pool party, and banquet.
- Meals - Thursday dinner; Friday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Saturday lunch and dinner; and Sunday lunch.
- Convention Swag - We're keeping this one under wraps, stay tuned :)
Where is convention happening?
Convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza AiRE, 3 Appletree Square, Bloomington, MN 55425. All convention events and lodging will be at this location.
Should I go?
Absolutely! Every GRL Convention feels like a holiday that we look forward to every year!
Convention is full of friendship, traditions, learning - and a lot of fun! We're excited to offer lots of ways to to connect with other siblings to talk about GRL, shared identities, hobbies, even cats.
Attending as a collegiate member, you'll leave with skills to help you lead your chapter and connections with other siblings across the country to support you through college and beyond.
As an alum member, you'll get to see old friends and make new connections. You can learn about what's been changing in GRL since you were in college and find ways to get involved again.
Whoever you are, we hope Convention is a time when you feel supported by our huge national family, validated in your identities and experiences, and loved for who you are.
You must be a Collegiate or Active Alum member to attend Convention. If you are not currently an Active Alum, learn more about how to so you can join our reunion!

When will we know what is happening at convention?
The full schedule for convention will be released in February 2026. However, we can promise you a lineup of developmental sessions, operational sessions, affinity group spaces, social/networking opportunities, a pool party, and our traditional banquet.
Can I stay at the hotel if I come early or late?
Yes! You can purchase an additional night when you purchase tickets through Sched. Please make sure you select the "King" or "Queen" option to note whether you'd like to be in a double queen bed room or a single king bed room.
Additional night upgrades are priced by room as opposed to by person for simplicity. This means that if Mack and Avery are both staying an extra night and wish to room together, only one of them would purchase the additional night upgrade.
When completing your registration, please ensure the dates you provide for arrival and departure match the nights you are planning to purchase an extra room if you are arriving early or departing late.
We will do our best to keep you in the same room if you are purchasing an extra night. However, room changes may be necessary for Sunday evening depending on hotel availability.
When is the last day to register?
The last day to register for GRL National Convention 2026 is May 31, 2026. Late registration will not be accepted after this date unless you are serving as a chapter delegate.
Please note that while registration ends May 31, 2026. Payment plans are not available for tickets purchased after April 30, 2026.
Can I volunteer to help at convention?
Not only can you, but we would love if you did! Please email [email protected] with information about how you'd like to be involved. Some examples include, but aren't limited to:
- Event photographer(s)
- Banquet DJ
- Staffing at check-in/help desk
- Facilitating a session, affinity group, or activity
- Pre-convention assistance
How do I know if I need or want a room upgrade?
Room upgrades boil down to how many people you'd like to room with and/or if you're traveling as a group/with guests and you'd like privacy.
Your ticket price covers the base cost of the hotel room for you to share a queen bed with 1 person, and an additional 2 people will be sharing the other queen bed. This means you'll have 4 GRL members in 1 room. (All guests will be placed with their GRL member they are in attendance with.)

I registered, but now I cannot attend. Can I transfer my ticket to someone?
There will be no refunds granted or exceptions made in the price of Convention registration. Ticket transfers will be managed on a case by case basis. Please contact [email protected] about ticket transfers.
Can I support a collegiate member's convention registration?
Yes! If you'd like to donate any amount of funds to support collegiate member registration, please use our powered by our Stripe account.
Those who donate will be recognized in banquet materials and on the Sched app as a sponsor. If you do not wish to be recognized in one or both of these ways, please email [email protected].
Can I bring my partner, child, caretaking staff or another guest to convention?
Absolutely! Please ensure you register them and purchase a guest ticket. The guest ticket includes:
- Hotel Room - A double queen room shared by 4 GRL members on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.*
- Programming - Access to programming including affinity groups, pool party, and banquet. Workshops and rituals are not open to guests.**
- Meals - Thursday dinner; Friday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Saturday lunch and dinner; and Sunday breakfast.
*If you do not plan on purchasing a hotel upgrade that allows for a private room (just you and your guest), you must receive approval from 2 the other GRL members staying in the room (or another GRL member and their guest). This approval will be requested on the roommate preference form sent out closer to convention.
**Children are welcome at all programming as long as they do not disrupt the programming taking place. If you will be traveling with caretaking staff and require their presence in all sessions you attend, please indicate this as an accommodation on your registration.
